We accept full-time undergraduate students majoring in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, materials science and engineering, and physics. Preference for admission is given to current sophomores and juniors.

A strong interest in learning about and participating in hands-on scientific research is required. Prior research experience is not a requirement. Students are expected to participate full-time in the program. Participants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Women and members of under-represented minorities are especially encouraged to apply.
